Match report Bledlow made the long trip up the M40 to take on Cropredy, looking to extend their impressive away form so far this season. On a muggy, overcast day and a damp pitch Tom won an important toss and invited the hosts to bat first.
Cropredy's openers struck some early blows to quickly reach 20-0 before an outstanding one handed, running and diving catch from skipper Tom off the bowling on Pearcey got the breakthrough. Pearcey never looked back from there as he rattled through the Cropredy line-up with a superb spell of swing bowling, with 20-0 quickly becoming 36-6, Matt picking up all 6! Some stubborn resistance then frustrated Bledlow as Cropredy's 7th wicket put on 38 at little more than 2 runs per over before Kingy picked up a deserved wicket in his final over. The Cropredy tail managed to add some more runs to move the score on to 126 all out, with Matt Bolton and Tom Moore (2) picking up the final three wickets.

Bledlow's reply got off to a shaky start as both Olly and Mouldy were dismissed after scoring just a single run each. Will then joined Bolts and the crease and soon quietened the hosts with regular boundaries. Bledlow looked like they were coasting to an easy win until Bolts chipped a catch to mid wicket for 23 with the score on 69. Bartlett then joined Will and the pair made light work of the 58 runs still required, with Bartlett's only worry that his runs were being given to Will on the scorecard. Will finished with 63 not out to cap off his excellent first half of the league season, with Harry ending on 27 not out.

The win sees Bledlow return to the top of the table as other results went their way. The team begin the second half of the season next week with a trip to Challow, hoping to extend their lead at the top of the table.
