We are excited to be running our third year of Dynamos Cricket - the follow-on programme to All Stars Cricket and the perfect introduction for any 8 to 10 year olds new to cricket! Read on below to learn more about Dynamos Cricket.

WHY HAVE WE CREATED DYNAMOS CRICKET

Between the ages of 8 and 10, children are trying a huge number of sports and activities. If they don't love cricket by the time they're 10 years old, we are unlikely to keep them in cricket! This is our window of opportunity.

Whilst hundred of clubs across the country have fantastic and thriving junior sections, many children are looking for a more casual playing opportunity.

WHAT IS DYNAMOS CRICKET

Dynamos Cricket takes all the recommendations from the junior formats in terms of pitch length and boundary size, and banner wraps it with the countdown cricket element of The Hundred.

It is about providing continuous action, and equal opportunity.

The sessions then involve skill builders to help provide kids with the skills to play the game and will be followed with a game of countdown cricket.

Soft balls and light wooden bats will be used.
