BVCC Bar Opening Sunday 27th September and onwards

26 Sep 2020

Hello ##firstname##

With season over and the Autumn weather getting cooler we have had to look at how we will be opening the bar over the coming months.

This weeks new regulations have imposed some new rules which we will have to implement.  We are trying this out and it may evolve so please be patient.  We have decided on the following rules for using the club, whether inside or out. Currently we will only be opening on Sundays from 1pm.  Other openings will be announced as they come up.

If you are planning on coming to the club please have a read of the rules below.  If we cannot work within these rules it may not be possible to open the club

Following the new Covid-19 Government ruling, as from Sunday 27th September you will be required to wear a face covering when entering the club and at any time you are moving round the club (even to use the toilets). You may remove your face covering once you are seated and after the bar staff have been to see you. Anyone exempt from wearing a face covering will need to produce evidence of this.

This is not a club rule but the law.

Anyone refusing a face covering will be refused service and asked to leave as a £1000 fine to the customer and a £10000 fine to the club is something we cannot afford.

If you have forgotten your face covering, disposable masks are available from the staff for 50p each. Ask before entering.

We now have table service only, whether inside or outside. Please attract the attention of the bar staff who will be walking around.

You will need to fill in the Attendance log for your bubble for track and trace purposes. We will also have the NHS Track and Trace QR codes that you can scan on entering or on the tables. The rule of 6 to a table still stands at each table.

When you require service please do not shout out. Staff will be walking around to serve you.

We will advertise the closing time for the day and the last order times. This will be final.

All of the tables are socially distanced so please do not rearrange the furniture,

Please respect this new system to keep us open and everyone safe.

Anybody who does not follow the rules will be asked to leave by any member of staff or committee member present

Please be patient; these rules are new to us as well as you. We are trying to keep the club open for you.

Entrance to the bar and the gents toilets will be via the far door on the pavilion Access to the ladies will be via the near door. Please exit the toilets by the same doors. Exit the bar through the near door.
