BLEDFEST 2019


Retroactive  
    1.30pm

Working together as a force of five minds, Retroactive comprising of Singer Ed Radcliffe, Guitarists Jed Warner and Ed Parsons, Drummer Riley Spencer and ‘Harley Sullivan on the Bass!’ formed in early 2018.

Their pacy sets of indie rock including Arctic Monkeys and Two Door Cinema Club mixed in with their own material, excites audiences and has helped Retroactive to audition and open for the incredible Battle of The Band 5 Final in Buckinghamshire.

SYD   2.15pm

5-piece band playing rock blues and country rock. Our total age is 345 years so we have played for a few years between us, but don’t be fooled by age - it’s just a number!

We have in the band Pedal Steel, Harp, Lead Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums and Lead Vocal/Guitar We are SYD - can’t get much more local than this Sydenham band. Seasoned pro's show you how it's done.


Sandy Lenny   3.00pm


Sandy is a sassy, versatile solo artist. Inspired by the great vocalists from the golden age of Jazz and Swing. 

Sandy draws her repertoire from the Great American Songbook.

Combining a range of warped interpretations of pop & rock classics with their own well-known hits from the mid-00s, Bucks’ premier progressive nu-metallers return to Bledfest for their 3rd outing.

Featuring Bledlow Village CC club captain on drums, they’re guaranteed to re-calibrate music as you know it.

Bootlegger bring you the authentic sounds of awesome classic rock. From AC/DC to Led Zeppelin and everything in between.

Cheeky Half       5.15pm


Local band playing Buzzcocks, Elvis Costello, Jam, Squeeze, Simple Minds new wave and punk. Their Second Bledfest.

Dave Dunbar    6.00pm


Singing a fine blend of swing & jazz from the 40's & 50's aimed to chill & thrill, originally performed by the likes of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin, Nat King Cole, The Rat Pack, and so on.


Billy Watman   6.45pm

      

Billy is an award winning 18 year old Anglo-Brazilian classical / flamenco / fingerstyle guitarist, inspired by the likes of Rodrigo y Gabriela, Tommy Emmanuel, Paco de Lucia and Mike Oldfield. This will be Billy’s 7th consecutive appearance at Bledfest!

In 2016 he reached the final of Sky Arts TV show “Guitar Star” – performed at Abbey Road Studios and worked one on one with George Benson, Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi and David Bowie’s longtime producer Tony Visconti, who described him as a ‘Little Boy Genius’. Big news for 2019 is that Billy has won a place at the Royal College of Music for a 4-year Classical Guitar performance course.

We are a 5 piece band (featuring guitar, and keyboards) who cover songs from the 60's to the present day (well almost!).  Based in the Watford area and play at weddings, parties, fund-raisers, festivals, pubs and clubs.

We perform music which makes people want to dance.

Not exactly wet behind the ears, the band consists of highly talented old-skool rockers (who you will probably recognise) bringing you some hidden or half-forgotten rock, blues and old-skool metal gems.

Featuring Rock n Roll songs from the 50's 60's 70's and 80's from all your favourite artists including Elvis, Buddy Holly, Eddie Cochrane Gene Vincent, Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry, Bill Haley, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, The Stray Cats, The Ramones, Shakin' Stevens, T Rex, Alvin Stardust, Joan Jett, Mud and Queen.

Wild have been entertaining crowds the length and breadth of the country for more than twenty years. Performing their own style of Revved up 50's Rock n Roll, like a “Now that’s what I call Rock n Roll” Album.
