Hi ladies
After yesterday's incredible game at Lord's, I am hoping you are feeling inspired to play cricket!
We have entered a team in a women's softball cricket festival 6:30-9:30pm this Friday evening (19 July) at Thame Town Cricket Club (Church Meadow, Thame OX9 3AJ). See the flyer attached.
We did a similar festival at Chesham last year (or was it the year before??) and it was a lot of fun. Teams can be a combination of kids and adults. It is soft ball and we provide all the bats etc. It is played in great spirit and everyone gets to bat, bowl and field. If you haven't played cricket before, or for a long time, this is a gentle (re) introduction.
There will be music, food, drink and a great atmosphere. Bring your family and/or friends for a great night of fun!
